Some people would say the clients we have are getting a good deal in these early days of The Little Search Company, especially if we have time to be playing around creating new websites.
Others would say that Ozido.com is a pretty nifty site which will keep you up to date with all the online marketing news you could possibly digest on a daily basis.
I’ll go with my first choice…. Im certain my teams time could be better spent bringing in new clients, they could be spamming the world with SEO proposition emails and telling the world how we “do it better”.
However thats not the way we do it at The Little Search Company, and I have to admit that since being introduced to Ozido i’ve used it on a daily basis. So what is it?
Put quite simply it’s a feed aggregator, that takes marketing feeds from the online and offline marketing world and organises them by date / category / genre / etc.
Gone are my days of having to log onto 20 blogs a day to see if they have updated with new posts, Ozido isn’t ground braking, but as it covers PPC, SEO, Affiliates, Email, Direct Marketing, Viral marketing and so much more, I have to admit it’s extremely convenient.
Let’s keep this between me and you though, if my guys get the slightest hint I approve of their creativity who knows what we’ll see next!
It’s been a good 7 weeks since I left I Want One Of Those (IWOOT) to launch The Little Search Company and you’d have thought by now my old team would have let their grudges go and bygones be bygones for the 3 years of management hell I gave them, how wrong I could be….
Yesterday IWOOT invited me along to their Affiliates v IWOOT paintball competition, and whilst the teams got a little mixed up I ended up on the team against the majority of the IWOOT guys, I now realise this must have been planned.
I was going to upload some pictures for you of my war wounds, but that might have been a little creepy, so take my word for it when I say I have golf ball sized lumps on my stomach, arms, legs, infact everywhere! Why my team didn’t just get in a big line behind me and use me as a human shiled I don’t know, becase i’m sure there were some tactics going on here!
I hope I at least managed to get one or two of you, though I seemed to spend more time running away with my arms in the air yelling “I Surrender, I Surrender!” than I did shooting people.
Rich - I Hope your Ok after the little accident that left you curled up in a ball after being hit where even the strongest of mens eyes will water, we all felt for you mate.
It was infact a great day (maybe not for Rich), and a big thanks to IWOOT for inviting me along, next time can we go and do something a little less painful though, ballet, cookery classes or something like that sounds good.
Why launch yet another search agency, it’s a question we asked ourselves many times before The Little Search Company came to fruition. Having worked both client and agency side, the simple answer to that question is because we feel it can be done so much better, if we didn’t, we’d have no business being here.
